" NOTICE- Few patients are coming and asking me about " S Hemoglobin" or "Sex Hemoglobin" or any sex factor which require multiple intra-venous (I.V.) fluid with medicine / saline / injections?- as per my opinion there is nothing like S HEMOGLOBIN or such kind of any sex related factor present in blood which can be seen on blood reports, and there is no such treatment available. Be aware of these kind of comments from few doctors.... this is just to make money.. they give multivitamin (costing 20/-) injections for treatment which they cost around 1200/- or even more per iv saline which is asked to take for several times like 10or 20, Its of no use or not even recommended by any standard textbook / treatment guidelines... Also note that few people are sensitive to these injectables and can also lead to anaphalysix and also death". Always remember that medications should be prescribed from outside medical store, they should have drug (name and molecule) contain in it, expiry date and cost. There is no specific formula of any doctor or which is practice abroad... Your treating doctor if insisting for IV fluid,/ supplements or self dispensed medicine without name of contains - he is trying to make you fool!.....

PUNE: A lot can change now for lakhs of
homosexuals after Wednesday's Supreme Court verdict making gay sex a crime, a
setback to the 2009 Delhi high court order that had helped many come out of the
closet, warned city-based psychiatrists.
A group of 20 doctors, mainly psychiatrists, have filed an
affidavit as part of the Naz Foundation case before the Supreme Court
emphasizing that homosexuality is not a disease or a psychiatric illness.
"The verdict may also lead to a rise in
risky sexual activity or contracting sexually-transmitted diseases and
abuse," said psychiatrist Dr Swapnil Deshmukh, who gets almost one patient
every day seeking guidance about the issue.
"People who come to us want to maintain
confidentiality, don't reveal their real names, do not give phone number or
address and prefer to come alone. Because of lack of awareness and acceptance,
these people try finding a sex partner on the net hiding their identity but it
makes them more prone to physical/ sexual abuse and at a risk of getting
sexually transmitted diseases like HIV," he said.
Deshmukh said the verdict will not have any
impact on seeking help from doctors.
"The apex court's verdict will drive gay,
lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community into a hideout. Our
experience says that when something is declared against the law, affected
communities suffer with the so-called moral police using the law to their
advantage," said psychiatrist.
Parental acceptance of their wards' sexuality is
bound to be hit after the recent verdict, said psychiatrist. "The
community's members may be scared to seek treatment for their own stress,
depression or any other illness linked to issues with involving their sexuality”.
